Meet The Staff
Jade brings over 15 years of experience in the dental insurance and practice management field. She possesses extensive knowledge of dental insurance policies and procedures and is dedicated to helping patients clearly understand their coverage, ensuring the financial side of their care is as transparent as possible. In addition to her insurance expertise, Jade oversees the daily operations of the practice, including staff management, scheduling, compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining efficient office systems. She is skilled in training and mentoring team members, optimizing workflows, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Her strong leadership and organizational abilities ensure that both patients and staff receive the highest level of support and care.
In addition to her professional role, Jade is the founder and director of the SunnieStrong Foundation, a nonprofit organization established in loving memory of her daughter. The foundation’s mission is to provide support, awareness, and resources to families navigating childhood loss after cancer. Through fundraising events and community outreach, SunnieStrong offers meaningful ways for others to get involved and make a difference. In addition, Jade enjoys supporting her son’s passion for travel baseball, proudly cheering him on both on and off the field.
Alyssa Quiones – Patient Concierge
Alyssa is one of the first smiling faces you’ll see when you visit our office. With over two years of experience in the medical field, she brings a strong background in patient care and organization to her role at the front desk. From scheduling appointments to answering questions and helping with insurance, Alyssa is committed to making every visit as smooth and welcoming as possible.
Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys painting, listening to music and spending quite time with a good book.
April brings a wide range of skills to our practice and plays an essential role in both clinical and administrative areas. In addition to her clinical expertise, April serves as the administrative assistant to the Practice Administrator. She manages all insurance responsibilities, including ensuring claims are processed and paid correctly and maintaining accurate, detailed insurance records for every patient. When Jade is unavailable, April is the office’s go-to resource, providing reliable leadership and support.
In her personal life, April is a proud mother of three daughters. She enjoys a wide variety of music and loves taking on creative projects such as refinishing furniture and DIY work around the home
Tamara has been a dedicated dental hygienist for over 30 years and exemplifies professionalism in every aspect of her work. She often shares, “It is not often you hear people say they truly love their job, but I can honestly say that I love what I do and it is a blessing to help patients improve and maintain healthy dental hygiene habits.” As our Lead Hygienist, Tamara oversees the hygiene team and plays a key role in developing and guiding our periodontal program. With extensive knowledge and advanced skills in treating gum disease, she delivers exceptional care and outstanding results for her patients. Known for her thorough yet gentle approach, Tamara’s chairside manner puts patients at ease and encourages long-term oral health.
Jessica graduated from the Dental Assistant Academy of North Carolina in 2020 and has quickly distinguished herself as a highly skilled and compassionate dental professional. As our Lead Dental Assistant, she plays a key role in coordinating the clinical team, supporting Dr. Añonuevo chairside with procedures such as fillings, crowns, and whitening, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Jessica also oversees the preparation and organization of clinical areas, mentors fellow assistants, and helps maintain efficient workflows. Her focus on patient comfort and clear communication ensures that every individual feels at ease throughout their treatment.
Originally from New York, Jessica is fluent in Spanish and enjoys staying connected with her family in Ecuador. She is especially proud of her daughter, with whom she shares a close bond. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys exploring Charlotte, making new friends, and spending quality time with her family.
Keylin Hernandez – Dental Assistant I
Keylin is our dental assistant who brings enthusiasm, dedication, and a strong work ethic to our practice. In addition to assisting chairside, she plays an important role in overseeing and managing the flow of lab cases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for patient care. Her willingness to learn and support both patients and team members makes her a valued part of our office.
Outside of the office, Keylin devotes much of her time to volunteering at her church and cultivating her faith. She enjoys giving back to her community and finds fulfillment in serving others
Lauren Ruddlesden – Registered Dental Hygienist
Lauren is a Registered Dental Hygienist with two years of experience providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health through cleanings, personalized education, and preventive care. Her goal is to create a positive dental experience while building lasting relationships with patients.
Beyond her professional role, she is a newlywed, faith-focused, and excited to begin building her family. She values the importance of both personal and professional growth and brings warmth and dedication to everything she does.
